Spray Tan

Spray Tanning

Want that healthy, glowing summer look all year round without the harmful effects of the sun? At Lash Addict Lashes we use a variety of tanning solutions to suit different skin types and level of tanning giving you a beautiful, natural looking tan without the streaks, patches, or dark hands and feet that other tans can give you.

All solutions contain a combination of violet based bronzers that produce an instant, natural looking tan that do not have the yellow/orange undertones that other solutions have. The solution is perfect for any skin type as it adopts the skins individual darker tones, whilst deepening the colour of its lighter tones to produce that perfect looking tan. The solution is not sticky, is smudge proof and is completely odourless once the tan has developed.

any of our tanning solutions can be left on from 1-4 hours, the longer you leave it on the darker the tan will develop

How long before an event should I get my spray tan done?

You should get your spray tan done 1-2 days before your event.

What do I need to do prior to my spray tan appointment?

To ensure an even tan you should exfoliate your skin a couple of days prior to your tanning appointment.

What do I need to do on the day of my appointment?

On the day of your spray tan you should exfoliate and pay particular attention to your elbows, knees, feet and heels, as these are the areas that collect the most tanning solution. So that the colour of the tan is not affected, please do not wear any deodorants, perfumes, powders or lotions etc. If you are having your face tanned, please do not wear any makeup. It is also a good idea to wear loose dark clothing and thongs, so as not to create tan lines and get the tanning solution all over your clothes.

How long do I need to wait to have a shower?

Depending on the type of solution you have chosen, you will need to wait at least 8 hours to have a shower with the Original solution, and at least 90 minutes with the Rapid solution. The tan will not over develop if left on the skin longer than this time.

During the development time avoid showering, swimming or doing any physical activity that may cause perspiration, and do not apply any products to your skin.

After showering pat your skin dry with your towel rather than rubbing so as not to prematurely fade your tan.

How long does the tan last?

The tan will last 5-7 days if cared for properly. For best results, moisturise your skin daily.
